The intelligence of your tears
There are days
when your body
can no longer hold it all together.
—
You carried.
You showed up.
You were there for others.
—
But what about you?
—
Did you allow yourself
to feel the weight
of everything you’ve been holding?
—
Did you allow yourself
to be sad?
—
And then…
it happens.
—
The tears come.
—
Not softly.
Not controlled.
—
But all at once.
—
Like something inside you
finally opens.
—
And for a moment,
you can’t stop it.
—
This is the moment
we often try to control.
—
But it is not meant
to be controlled.
—
Because your body
is intelligent.
—
It knows
when it is time
to release.
—
Everything your system
has been holding
for too long
moves through you
in that moment.
—
Through your tears.
—
And yet,
the world will tell you
to stop.
—
“Don’t cry.”
“It’s not that bad.”
“It will be fine.”
—
As if your tears
need a reason.
—
But they don’t.
—
Your body already knows
why they are there.
—
It is not breaking down.
—
It is regulating.
—
It is releasing
what was never meant
to stay inside of you.
—
Your tears
are not weakness.
—
They are movement.
—
A quiet, powerful process
of returning to balance.
—
You don’t have to understand it.
—
You only have to allow it.
—
Because what you hold back
does not disappear.
—
It stays.
—
In your body.
In your system.
In your nervous system
that keeps trying
to carry it all.
—
Until one day,
it can’t anymore.
—
And that is when
the tears come.
—
Not to hurt you.
—
But to free you.
—
There is a release
in crying
that no explanation
can replace.
—
A softness
that appears
after everything
has been felt.
—
A lightness
that was not available
before.
—
And still,
we are taught
not to trust it.
—
We are told
to suppress.
To distract.
To fix.
—
We learn
to trust everything outside of us.
—
But not our own body.
—
Why?
—
Why do we look for answers
everywhere else
but hesitate
to trust the intelligence
within us?
—
Your body knows
how to regulate.
—
It always has.
—
It speaks to you
in sensations.
In emotions.
In quiet signals
you often ignore.
—
And sometimes
it speaks through tears.
—
So instead of stopping it
listen.
—
Feel.
—
Allow.
—
Maybe you don’t need
to find a reason.
—
Maybe you don’t need
to fix anything.
—
Maybe this is already
the healing.
—
Your body
is not working against you.
—
It is working for you.
—
It is carrying you
through everything
you haven’t yet allowed yourself
to feel.
—
So trust it.
—
Listen.
—
And let it move.
—
Because your body
is not your enemy.
—
It is the place
where everything
returns to truth.
—
It is the place
where your soul,
your essence lives.
