When does thinking end and decision begin?
If I had understood
the true meaning of decision earlier in life…
—
maybe I would be
somewhere completely different today.
—
And yet…
—
I know
I am exactly
where I need to be.
—
Many people talk about decisions.
—
But very few understand
how powerful
a real decision truly is.
—
Most people confuse decisions
with goals.
—
But goals and decisions
carry completely different energies.
—
A goal
is often just a thought.
—
An idea.
A wish.
A possibility.
—
But a decision…
—
a real decision…
—
comes from somewhere deeper.
—
It comes
when the mind
finally becomes tired.
—
Exhausted
from thinking.
—
Exhausted
from not knowing.
—
And suddenly…
—
something inside you
cuts through the noise.
—
This is why
the word “decision”
—
comes from the Latin:
—
to cut off.
—
And that is exactly
what a true decision is.
—
Not adding.
—
Cutting away.
—
Cutting away
what no longer belongs
to your life.
—
And maybe this is why
real decisions feel so uncomfortable.
—
Because before every new beginning…
—
something must die first.
—
A habit.
A pattern.
A relationship.
An addiction.
A version of you.
—
A decision
is not just choosing something new.
—
It is first choosing
what must end.
—
You do not become healthy
because you simply wish
to be healthy.
—
You become healthy
when you finally decide
you no longer want
to live sick.
—
You enter a loving relationship
when you finally decide
to stop staying
inside a toxic one.
—
You find your purpose
when you decide
to leave the work
that drains your soul.
—
You begin living your own life
when you decide
to stop living
for everyone else.
—
You attract different people
when you decide
to cut off
the wrong ones.
—
This is why
so many goals fail.
—
Because most people
never truly decide.
—
Every January
fitness studios are full.
—
And by spring…
—
half of those people disappear.
—
Because wanting
is not deciding.
—
A goal says:
—
“I hope I become different.”
—
A decision says:
—
“This no longer belongs
to my life.”
—
Completely different energy.
—
The same happens
with smoking.
—
Most people say:
—
“One day I will stop.”
—
But that is not a decision.
—
That is only hope.
—
A real decision
sounds different.
—
It says:
—
Enough.
—
I no longer want
to destroy myself.
—
And suddenly…
—
something inside
cuts the attachment.
—
Not perfectly.
—
Not loudly.
—
But deeply.
—
The same happens
with diets.
—
People force themselves
for a few weeks,
—
trying to create
a new body
—
without ever deciding
to leave behind
the habits
that created the old one.
—
This is why
temporary motivation
rarely lasts.
—
Because transformation
does not begin
with pressure.
—
It begins
the moment something inside you says:
—
Enough.
—
This no longer belongs
to my life.
—
And maybe
life is much simpler
than we make it.
—
Maybe everything changes
the moment
you finally become honest enough
to say:
—
This no longer belongs
to my life.
—
That’s it.
—
And once
a real decision is made…
—
life begins moving differently.
—
People change.
Circumstances change.
Opportunities appear.
—
Not magically.
—
But because your energy
is no longer divided.
—
And maybe
this is the true power
behind decision.
—
Not discipline.
—
Not force.
—
Clarity.
—
The painful truth is…
—
most people only become capable
of real decisions
—
after hitting the ground.
—
After exhaustion.
—
After pain.
—
Because only then
does the soul finally become louder
than the mind.
—
But maybe…
—
it does not have to go that far.
—
Maybe you can decide today.
—
Simply because
you finally understand
—
that you matter too.
—
That you deserve better too.
—
That you are allowed
to choose yourself.
—
You do not need
to keep thinking forever.
—
At some point…
—
life asks for decision.
—
Not another plan.
—
Not another excuse.
—
Not another year
of staying the same.
—
Just one honest moment:
—
This ends here.
—
And maybe
that is where
thinking finally ends…
—
and life begins.
